Responsibilities

  • Drafting and issuing professional due diligence reports by assessing credit applications for new and existing clients across a large spectrum of international and local clients
  • Post lending management, monitoring progress of developments, reporting on bilateral, syndication and other credit related business.
  • Actively engage with and present reports to Credit Review Committee and Head Office as required.
  • Promotion of strategies for credit business development, green finance strategies and other risk related policies within the Bank.
  • Leading the process on non-performing loan recovery and the legal process of accounts that are handed over.

Requirements

  • B Com/Finance degree
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant due diligence experience in the banking industry
  • Microsoft office with advanced Excel experience
  • In depth knowledge of the South African Company Act and Banks Act
  • Ability to work independently as well as within teams.
